Regresamos a Hacienda La Trinidad.  Un lugar perfecto para sentarse a dibujar y pintar.

Chacaito and La Plaza Candelaria this week. Chacaito y La Plaza Candelaria este semana.

A little sketch done in Chacaito whilst waiting for friends,  having my ear bent by an evangelist and La Plaza Candelaria this morning.  Half the church is covered in scaffolding and being painted. 

  Un pequeno boceto hecho en Chacaito mientras que esperaba amigos con una señora que no dejaba de tratar de convertirme a su convicciones religiosas y luego,  la Plaza Candelaria hoy. La mitad de la iglesia con andamio mientras que lo pintan.

En Mayo fuimos al Jardin Botanico, un oasis en en centro del cuidad. 
In May the urban sketcher group met in the Botanical Gardens, an oasis un the middle of the city.




Foro Libertador, Panteon Nacional

Yesterday the Dibujantes Urbanos met and spent the morning drawing in and around the Panteon Nacional. 

Ayer los Dibujantes Urbanos se reunio y paso la mañana dibujando en las alrededores del Panteon Nacional.

Inside it was rather dark, outside too bright, making me think I need new glasses!

I hate to admit it, I went expecting to not like the new extension, from the outside it is really ugly.  Inside it is stunning and sadly there is no way my sketch captures that.  The height, the solemnity, the feeling you need to whisper and be really, really respectful!!

Summer Taller/Workshop

Taller de sketchbook art en la Hacienda La Trinidad durante las vacaciones con las profesoras Helen Mortlock y Doris Raecke.

Sesiones de un día de 9:30 am a 3:00 pm en las bellas e interesantes instalaciones de la Hacienda La Trinidad. An...ímese a iniciarse en el dibujo y la pintura o retomar esa pasión en un ambiente agradable y pase un día diferente acercándose al movimiento artístico de mayor auge en el mundo, el dibujo de apuntes (sketchbook art).

Puede inscribirse en una sola sesión o en varias, según su conveniencia. Se realizarán los días miércoles 17 y 24 de julio así como el 7 y 21 de agosto.

Hacienda La Trinidad

Doris and I are going to be offering some one day workshops during July and August at this lovely place.  Today we went out there for a little while to scout around and do some sketching.

Doris y yo vamos a ofrecer talleres de un dia durante Julio y Agosto en ese lugar tan bonita.  Hoy fuimos para ver los posibles lugares para dibujar y aprovechamos de hacer un sketch.
