The day started out quite chilly but we found a sheltered spot to paint the enormous sun flowers.

I taught art in high schools for over 30 years in the UK,
Hong Kong and Venezuela.
Am a founding member of AVA, the Venezuelan water colour association, a member of the Caracas Circulo de Dibujo and lately have joined the Caracas Urban Sketchers group.
I have kept a sketch book on and off since I was a student and wish I were disciplined enough to draw in it every day.
This blog is a space to post sketches and water colours,
a supplement to my website.
