Wallasea, the cross rail project.

A nice Sunday walk, although a bit grey,  with my brother, sister and sister in law.  Hares, swans, geese, seals and lots of other birds.

Leadenhall Market with London Urban Sketchers

A rather grey day in London, just minutes from Fenchurch Street station. Treasures I didn't know of. First  a very quick trip to Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street.  Will be going back. Then sketching in Leadenhall Market and at St Dunstans in the East.   This church dates from Saxon times.  Was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the great fire of London and  then bombed in 1941 during the blitz.

Southend Library with Chalk_Collective

The library in Southend is an impressive modern building and we thought it would make a change from  going to pubs whilst it is dark and cold. We were expecting the place to be full of students  studying which would be great for sketching.  There was hardly a soul so... after sketching in the most interesting areas we landed up in a bar.... again!!!
