La Pastora, 438 years old.

The Caracas Urban sketchers group were invited to take part in the parish celebrations today.  Just like last Saturday when we were in Los Proceres it was incredibly hot... rain on the way probably.
Did a very quick sketch of the children drawing at tables provided and putting on hats made of balloons that a man was giving away.   In the church a lady was reading papers and adding up figures, I decided she had found a peaceful office but in fact she was waiting for her daughter who was in a bible class at the front of the church.

So long without posting.... today in Caracas the Urban sketchers group went to Los Proceres

It was hotter than Hades and very little shade.  Max was determined that we would stick to his timetable so each sketch was about half an hour in a spiral bound book I had here that is 20x29cm.
Three hours after getting home we have just had the most tremendous storm, which would account for the heat this morning.  We finished up in the Military Club, I havent been in years, it is being ripped apart and anyone is allowed in, which is fine but... they take money out of the military pension for the use of the club so should maybe charge everyone entrance!!!
