The weather is really changeable

Painting with Southend Plein Air Group

 More and more people are joining us for our Sunday morning painting sessions.  In May we met up at the iconic cliff lift in Southend.

I have been sewing instead of painting but.....

This year Southend Plein Air painters have had a session each month, January meet up was cold, a Wassailing Celebration in an Orchard. The February session was held on a very wet day, so we retreated to a cafe in the park where we were to meet.   I was too sick with a cold to go in March and todays session at the cemetery was an almost perfect day weatherwise!   Sunny although there was a chilly northerly breeze.  Still we were just in time to see the cherry blossom.
