Lean times

Very lean weeks, experimenting with water colour and bamboo pens.  

Semanas de poco produccion, experimentando con acuarela y plumas de bamboo.

oh man! and I have done even less this week!

Experimenting with water colour splashed on the pages of my sketch book and then drawing on top with a thick and a thin bamboo pen using indigo water colour paint.

Experimento con color de acuarela sobre las paginas del libro de apuntes y luego dibujando con pluma de bamboo, una gruesa y una fina con acuarela de color indigo.

This weeks production

Haven´t done too much this week, not really been in the mood.   Doris kindly offered me a ride to Colonia Tovar, a german style village about an hour out of Caracas up in the mountains.   This is a popular place during the weekends and holidays.   German sausages, lots of fruits and vegetables on sale.  
Then on Sunday we were back at the USKCCS exhibit at the Ateneo.  It is such a peaceful place with a great view across the city.

No he hecho mucho este semana, no estaba con ganas.  Doris, muy amablamente me ofrecio acompañarlos a Colonio Tovar, un pueblo donde llego unos immigrantes alemanes en el siglo 19.   Aun conserva muchos costumbres y estilos de Alemania.  Es muy popular los fines de semana y vacaciones porque es solamente una hora de la cuidad y como esta en las montañas, mas fresca.   Luego hoy estuvimos de nuevo en el Ateneo donde estan exhibiendo los dibujantes urbanos.  Es un lugar muy bonita, llena de paz con una vista sobre la cuidad.
