Another glorious day,so spent the afternoon sketching in Leigh. Leigh hill, a really pretty house with lots of hanging baskets and then from the gardens behind the library looking out across to Canvey and onto Kent at low tide.

It is the Leigh art trail this week. Exhibits in shops, cafes, workshops so Paul organised a sketch walk starting in the library gardens, then in the churchyard and on down into the old town. A group of about 10 started out on what was a gloriously sunny afternoon. We ended in the Crooked Billet pub courtyard.

Very windy today but there are lovely walled gardens attached to the Priory in Priory Park, Prittlewell so Paul and I went there to sketch today. The gardens are lovely, this is the smallest one, with roses, lavender and herbs.
